Monitoring — It has now been decided to start planning a migration away from this current service to Office365. The preliminary plans have now been put together and a date has been set for initial work. Some initial maintenance will be performed late tomorrow night to allow us to start testing migrations. During this period there should be little to no disruption to services, with the exception of a possible restart of the server being needed. This will be noted in a separate maintenance task on this page.

Monitoring — Our hosting provider have now completed their scheduled maintenance and it has resulted in some resources being freed up. This should hopefully improve the service somewhat. We are now looking at ways to fully bring this back to 100% operational status in the near future.

Identified — Root cause has now been identified. This is an issue with our external hosting provider and they are looking to schedule in maintenance on their end to rectify the problem, likely to be over the weekend. Will set a maintenance period on this service once we have a date and time. Once again, apologies for any inconveniences caused.

Investigating — As of 10.30am the email server started struggling again with intermittent connections. We are now liasing with the external hosting provider to try and find more answers as everything seems to be okay from our end. Will update once we have more information.
